Malorie KerouacPhotographer

There are no words to describe how much photography means to me. It may come as a surprise... but it is not weddings I am in love with, it’s people. And I love photographing them. Each year I hold my breath, cross my fingers, and hope that i’ll be invited back. Because, while there are a plethora of ways to earn a living, there are few roads in life that allow me to photograph people with the intimacy that weddings afford.
For those of you who trust me enough to include me, please know that it is such a gift to me, and I am so grateful.

Malorie is an American photographer living in seattle, and working around the US and Italy.
Working with film and digital mediums, her passion is in capturing her Client’s lives through the lens of historical documenter, rather than for the immediacy of social media.
When she isn’t traveling for work, Malorie is home as the primary caretaker of her young son. Documenting her son has largely influenced her passion for documenting the lives of others.

Malorie has received acclaim from Rangefinder Magazine and Counterpart Collective for her alternative style of photographing weddings. Her work has been published by Goop, Over the Moon, Luna Magazine, The Anti Bride, and more.
A Selection of Memories

  • Do stuff. be clenched, curious.
  • Not waiting for inspiration's shove or society's kiss on your forehead.
  • Pay attention: It's all about paying attention.

  • Attention is vitality.
  • It connects you with others.
  • It makes you eager.
  • Stay eager.
